Privacy Policy for Land!

Welcome to Land! (“the App”), operated by Weightless Realm Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We value your privacy and take care to protect any information collected while providing the App’s features. a) Phone Number
Purpose and Storage: We use Firebase Authentication to verify your phone number as your unique account identifier. The phone number is stored securely in Firebase, which is a service provided by Google.
Limited Use: We do not share your phone number with any third party. It is used only for account creation, sign-in, and enabling friend-related features.
b) Location Data
Purpose of Collection: We request location permission to show nearby events and relevant location-based features (e.g., placing custom events on the map).
Optional Consent: You can grant or revoke location access at any time via your device settings. If you do not grant permission, you can still use basic features of the App, though certain location-based functionalities may be limited.
c) Notifications
Push Notifications: We integrate with Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver event and friend-related messages, including notifications when the app is closed.
d) Usage Data
Minimal Analytics: We may collect general usage analytics such as how often you open the App or which features are accessed. These analytics are either anonymous or aggregated and do not include personal data.
Debugging: If errors occur (e.g., crashes), minimal diagnostic information may be processed to improve the App’s stability.
Account ID: Your phone number is used solely to authenticate you and to link you to your personalized content (events, friend lists, chat messages).
Location Services: If granted permission, location data is used in real-time to locate nearby events and enhance certain map-based features.
Push Notifications: You will receive notifications about events and friend messages through Firebase Cloud Messaging. No personal details (beyond the minimal identifiers for sending these notifications) are stored by or shared with third parties.
No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share your data with event providers or other external parties for marketing, analytics, or any other purpose.
Retention: Phone numbers and any user-generated content (e.g., private events) remain on Firebase as long as you maintain an account.
Deletion Request: If you wish to delete your account, you could navigate to your account page, press the ⁝ button to access the deletion account button. You information will be removed from the server. If you experience any issues deleting your account in-app, please contact us at yyu@weightlessrealm.com
Safeguards: We use industry-standard security measures to protect data stored via Firebase.
Limitations: While we strive to keep your data secure, no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed 100% safe. Using the App is at your own risk.
Not Designed for Children: Land! is not primarily designed for users under the age of 13.
Unintentional Collection: We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in violation of applicable laws. If you believe a child has provided data to us, contact yyu@weightlessrealm.com so we can remove it.
Your Responsibilities: You are responsible for complying with applicable local laws when using the App.
Our Commitment: We operate in accordance with relevant privacy regulations, including Apple’s guidelines. If you reside in a region with specific privacy protections (e.g., GDPR), you may have additional rights to access, correct, or erase personal data.
Periodic Updates: We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App or in legal requirements. We will notify you of any significant modifications, for example via an in-app alert or an updated post at https://www.weightlessrealm.com/land/privacy.
Continued Use: By continuing to use the App after such changes become effective, you agree to the revised policy.
